Brilliant Alan. This should be part of every film school curriculum. Insider baseball at it's best. Congrats on your career, I was lucky to work with you.
You were a superstar from the start Alan. I remember how everything changed when you took over crafty. And thanks for sharing such a thoughtful origin story; it’s a #mustread for anyone starting out.
Thanks, Ted! Appreciate your support. It was such a vivid experience to work on that film; I learned so much from everyone involved. Talk about Authored cinema...
These are stories of perseverance. You made your own way in an impossible field by being resourceful, perceptive, and grateful. That’s still how you roll, and it’s a wonder to watch.
Thanks for reading, Colin. I need to re-scan my 16mm negatives, what I have is so low resolution. I’ve been planning out a new way to remake it in a much more fitting way. I’ll see if I can find some more decent looking stills. I took promotional photos with my 35mm still camera, those look stunning with the locations and costumes.

Thanks, Tony, I was lucky to work with you, too! What seismic changes we've worked through from film to digital! Hope all is well.

Thanks, Rob! Your support means the world to me.
Thank you for the wisdom Mr. Smith! Is your Persephone short film publicly available? I’d love to check it out if you are willing to share!
